Armond G. Fieni, 77, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at his home. Born in Landenberg, Chester County, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Angeladea (Costelli) Fieni. He was the husband of Lois A. (Leaman) Fieni. They would have been married for 55 years in November.
Mr. Fieni was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Elizabethtown. He was retired from A. Fieni and Son, Inc. He enjoyed working, driving and having breakfast with his friends. Mr. Fieni had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Lois, he is survived by a son, Armond G. Fieni, Jr., Elizabethtown and his fiancee, Kim Schoffstall; a granddaughter, Erin, wife of Wayne Heard; a great grandson, Austin Derr; two brothers, James and Gabriel Fieni, Landenberg; and four sisters: Helen Tots, Delaware; Diamanda Tots, Florida; Sandy Petrizzi, Hazelton and Rose Marrone, Avondale.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel; a brother, John; and a sister, Mary Graziani.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 904 Mill Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 until the time of service. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
